NOTE: Food Not Bombs is actively recruiting in order to build a strong core volunteer force. We hope to restart our weekly meal and meeting schedule soon; In the meantime, we hold meals and meetings as often as we are able.
NEXT MEETING: A POTLUCK!
The next meeting of FNB is Thursday, December 11th 2014, at Encuentro 5 in downtown Boston at 7:00pm where we are hosting a potluck dinner!
We will discuss kitchens to cook out of, debrief recent meals, and sites for food donations!
All who wish to help keep building on the momentum of our recent presence at HONK, the Anarchist Book Fair, and the Boston Homeless Solidarity Commission are welcome! Should you be able to bring a meal, please do so, but if you can’t, come along and help us consider methods to improve our food-sharing ways: sharing food is what we do! (Please label your meal accordingly – e.g. vegan, potential allergins, etc.)
Please comment on, share, or RSVP to the Facebook Event Posting to help spread the word!
We are currently considering the possibility of helping the Lucy Parsons Center in Jamaica Plain host their upcoming (12/9) open house. If you are able to commit yourself to assisting with this meal, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
Food Not Bombs Meals
PLEASE NOTE: The current meal schedule is NOT active. Please see our home page about joining FNB and helping restore our regular meal sharing program!
The Boston Chapter of Food Not Bombs normally serves two free and healthy vegan meals every week. We serve year round and strive to never miss a meal. Everyone is encouraged to come eat, volunteer, and share ideas. All are welcome at our table.
Food Not Bombs is run solely by volunteers and there are no “bosses” or “leaders.” If you’d like to help, come join us on one of our meal days or contact us at email@example.com.
Our historic meal schedule, which we are hoping to restart in the future, is:
3pm-5pm: Serving at Boston Common.
near the big water fountain outside Park Street Station.
